Top snooker stars including Shaun Murphy, Jimmy White and defending champion Anthony McGill will be at the Watford Colosseum next month for the Coral Shoot Out.

The world ranking tournament runs from February 8 to 11 and play is fast and furious, with all matches lasting a maximum of ten minutes and non-stop drama guaranteed.

Also among the top players in the 128-man field are Mark Williams, Barry Hawkins, Mark Allen, Luca Brecel, Kyren Wilson, Ali Carter and Ken Doherty.

Scotland's McGill won the title for the first time last season by winning seven matches, beating China's Xiao Guodong in the final.

"It's a unique tournament, very different from everything else we play in," said McGill. "I remember I should have lost to Mark King in the last 16, but he missed a ball to beat me. After that I had the feeling that I was going to win it.

"Not many players will get the chance to win the Shoot Out so it was a good experience for me."

Tickets start at just £15 and can be purchased here.
