Watford are set to complete the loan signing of Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu, according to reports from Spain.
The player’s representative reportedly met with the Hornets technical director Filippo Giraldi and executives from the Catalan giants this afternoon where a deal to bring the 23-year-old to Vicarage Road for the remainder of the season was agreed.
Watford are not expected to have an option to make the deal permanent in the summer, but it is suggested the former Everton loanee will train with his new teammates for the first time tomorrow and could even make his debut in Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Stoke City.
