Costel Pantilimon has completed a loan switch to Championship side Nottingham Forest.
The 30-year-old shot stopper joins Forest for the remainder of the season where he will hope to provide competition for regular number one Jordan Smith.
The move sees the former Manchester City man cut short a loan spell at Deportivo La Coruna where he spent the first half of the season and played seven times.
Pantilimon has had to play second fiddle to Heurelho Gomes throughout his Vicarage Road stay and he has nine appearances with the club to his name – only two of which coming in the Premier League.
He joined the Hornets on a free from Sunderland in January 2016 having previously spent three seasons at Manchester City where he won the Premier League and League Cup.
The Romanian joins a Forest side sitting 15th in England’s second tier.
