The date for Watford’s Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur has now been set in stone after Spurs crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of Juventus.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men conceded twice in the space of three second half minutes to lose 2-1 at Wembley and suffer a 4-2 aggregate defeat on Wednesday.
The Hornets’ visit to Wembley, which will be played on Monday, April 30, had been moved already to accommodate TV but was subject to further rescheduling had Spurs reached the Champions League semi-finals.
The game, which kicks-off at 8pm, will see Watford bring up their 10th appearance on TV this season and will be part of Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football Show.
