Jose Holebas is fit for Watford’s Premier League clash with Arsenal after shaking off an injury sustained late on in the 1-0 win over West Brom.

The left-back was replaced in the depths of stoppage-time after making an important tackle and looked to be in serious pain as he limped from the field.

However, Javi Gracia confirmed the 33-year-old has recovered in time to join the Watford squad against Arsenal as they look to extend their winning Premier League run to three games.

Gracia said: “He is ok, he trained two days out of the team and two days with the team and will do tomorrow as well. I think he will be fit for the next match.”

Kiko Femenia, who missed the win over the Baggies through sickness will also be available once again.

Craig Cathcart was seen at the Watford training complex and Gracia says the long-term absentee is making good progress in his recovery.

He said: “Kiko comes back after being ill last week and Cathcart is training with the team but is not match fit.”

The Watford head coach also had positive news on Tom Cleverley who has been out with a hamstring injury since the end of January.

While the midfielder is still some way off selection, he has stepped up his recovery and is training once again.

Gracia said: “He is training out of the team in light training and we will see in the next weeks if it is possible he comes back with the team.”

Gracia may have been able to provide good news on a number of Watford players, but the Spaniard is still facing a sizable injury list ahead of the visit to Emirates Stadium.

Long-term injury concerns Younes Kaboul and Nathaniel Chalobah are unavailable as are Gerard Deulofeu and Christian Kabasele, while Tommie Hoban also remains sidelined.
