Andy Madley will take charge of a Premier League game for the first time when AFC Bournemouth visit Vicarage Road to face Watford on Saturday.
The 34-year-old, who is the older brother of top flight regular Bobby, has so far only been an assistant referee in the Premier League.
He has plenty of experience officiating across English football’s three other leagues as well as in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Madley has been in charge for 36 games this season, showing 108 yellow and one red card in the process.
While he may not have refereed in the Premier League, Madley has been the man in the middle for a Watford game at Vicarage Road before.
He last oversaw Watford in February 2015 when the Golden Boys claimed a 1-0 Championship win over Blackburn Rovers.
That match was one of two games Madley took during the Hornets’ promotion season, with the other coming in the form of a 1-0 defeat at Charlton in September.
