Gerard Deulofeu will feature again for Watford this season, Hornets head coach Javi Gracia says.

The Barcelona loanee hasn't played since suffering a stress fracture to his foot in the 1-0 win over Everton at Vicarage Road in February.

Gracia confirmed that Christian Kabasele and Molla Wague were, as expected, the only players from his injured cohort to make a return to full training this week, but says Deulofeu will be involved before the season is out.

"I think so," Gracia said when asked if the winger would play again this term. "I do not know in this moment if he will, but I am confident he will play before the end of the season.

"Only Kabasele and Wague are training this week with the team. We will see if they are available to play Burnley at the last moment.

"They are training and are in a good moment."

While kabasele could feature against Burnley, Wague will of course not be available having been excluded from Watford's 25 man squad.

Nathaniel Chalobah is another long-term absentee and hasn't played since fracturing his knee cap in training with the season still in its infancy.

Gracia previously revealed he was unsure whether the midfielder would play again in the 2017/18 campaign and his situation remains unclear.

Gracia confirmed the former Chelsea man is yet to make a comeback to first team training and is still without a return date.

"He is training out of the team and is trying to recover. In this moment I do not have any new news about him," he said.

"In this moment he is working in the gym and not with the rest of the team."

In other injury news, Tom Cleverley remains unavailable for Watford ahead of the visit of Burnley on Saturday.
