It is 20 years to the day since Watford were celebrating after clinching the Division Two title at Fulham with a 2-1 victory at Craven Cottage.
Following Graham Taylor's return to the managerial hot seat at Vicarage Road, the Hornets had set the pace at the top of the table for most of the season but needed to win on the final day to add the championship to promotion as Bristol City blew their opportunity with defeat at Preston North End.
Gifton Noel-Williams set the Hornets on their way with a 34th-minute opener from a Micah Hyde cross, but Fulham were to equalise on the hour through Peter Beardsley.
It fell to Jason Lee to score what proved to be the title-winning goal with 19 minutes remaining when he scored with a half-volley after Alon Hazan had headed down a Darren Bazeley cross.
Whether you were at Craven Cottage or not on that memorable sunny afternoon, here are a selection of our pictures to enjoy again from a triumph on the banks of the Thames.
