Richarlison says he is keeping abreast of transfer speculation amid continuing links to Manchester United and Chelsea.

While the Brazilian winger stopped short of saying he is looking to leave Watford, he admitted he has read reports about his proposed exit.

Speaking on Brazilian TV, the 20-year-old confessed a move has crossed his mind but he is leaving his future in the hands of his agent.

“I want to play, that’s the most important thing for me. On the negotiations, I leave that to the club and the agents,” Richarlison said.

“I will not lie. I keep reading the news, but nothing has come to me, unless it got to the club and they did not tell me, but nothing came to me.

“If it comes, I will be happy. It is a sign that I’m working well here at Watford and that they’re keeping an eye on me.”

After a flying start to the season, Richarlison has hit a considerable dip in form and hasn’t scored since the November win over Newcastle United.

Richarlison accepts his form has not been in keeping with the player who scored five goals in his first 13 games on English soil, but believes he will get through a testing period.

“I think I am in a bad phase, the ball doesn’t want to go in at all. I’ve been doing well and the goal isn’t coming. I’ve been through it in Fluminense as well,” he said.

“You must be patient that the goal is going to come out at the right time. When the first comes a lot will come, one after another.”
