Kasimpasa are willing to wait until after the World Cup to decide on the future of Mahmoud Hassan, according to the Turkish club’s vice president.

Watford have been linked with a move for the midfielder, who is known as Trezeguet, as they look to add goals to their squad for next season.

Hasan Hilmi Oksuz confirmed no offers have arrived for the 23-year-old, but says the Super Lig outfit will be open to bids should they arrive in the wake of the World Cup, where Trezeguet will represent Egypt.

“We are prepared to wait until after the World Cup with Trezeguet,” Oksuz told media in Turkey. “He’s under contract with our club so we are relaxed about the situation.

“If he enjoys a good World Cup and suitable bids arrive for both parties then we can, but that’s not the case at the moment.”

After a campaign in which Watford toiled to find the net, Javi Gracia will be eager to add firepower to his squad.

Trezeguet scored 13 times in 34 appearances for club and country last season and ended the campaign in strong form as he netted five goals in seven games.
