Watford will start their Premier League campaign at home against Brighton on Saturday, August 11.

The clash is one of four home games in the first five outings of the season for the Hornets, who travel away to Burnley on the second weekend.

Back to back home meetings with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United commence September, before Hornets fans get the chance to get reacquainted with Slavisa Jokanovic at Craven Cottage on September 22.

They close what looks to be a tricky month with an away day against Unai Emery’s Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

The Always eagerly anticipated visit of Bournemouth arrives on October 6 and is followed by a visit to newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers.

November sees away games against Newcastle United and Southampton as well as the visit of Liverpool to Vicarage Road take place.

The Christmas fixture list is as congested as ever as Watford play eight times between December 1 and January 1.

Watford fans will no doubt be looking forward to the trip to Goodison Park on December 8, when the Hornets come up against Marco Silva for the first time since his acrimonious departure.

Supporters will have to wait until February 2 to welcome Silva back to Vicarage Road, where he is sure to receive a less than warm welcome.

Boxing Day has delivered a late Christmas present for the Hornets as they entertain Chelsea and Javi Gracia’s men finish 2018 with a home game against Newcastle United.

A trip to the south coast to take on Bournemouth will provide a hangover cure on New Year’s Day and commences a run of six away games in eight outings by the end of February.

Watford’s first trip to Spurs’ new ground plays out under the lights in a 7.45 kick-off on January 30 and Liverpool away is also a midweek game on February 27.

The final three months of the season provide some testing away days, with March alone seeing the Golden Boys travel to the Etihad Stadium and Old Trafford respectively.

Jokanovic makes his first trip back to the Vic since departing in 2015 to get April underway as the season reaches its climax.

The Hornets face Arsenal and Wolves at home and Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium throughout the remainder of the month.

May features just two games, starting with a daunting looking trip to Stamford Bridge before the Hornets conclude their campaign with a home game against West Ham.
