Watford striker Andre Gray is facing a court appearance in the USA after he allegedly hit a woman in a Las Vegas nightclub.
Gray, 27, is alleged to have a hit a woman in Drai’s nightclub on May 26.
A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said Gray and another man, believed to be a friend, received a citation for battery from a police officer who was working near the club.
According to the police spokeswoman, a woman claimed Gray pulled her hair and hit her in the face.
They are due to appear before a Las Vegas court on 18 July.
The citation does not mean that Gray is guilty but he must appear in court.
Gray was not with his partner, Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock, when the alleged incident happened.
Watford Football Club has been approached for comment.
