Torino are reportedly negotiating a €20 million deal to sign Watford’s attacking midfielder Roberto Pereyra.
According to reports in Italy the two clubs have been in talks for some time and Watford were originally holding out for a fee in the region of €30m.
Watford are believed to have lowered that figure considerably but the two clubs are yet to agree on a price for the 27-year-old.
The potential move would see the Argentine link up with Walter Mazzarri, who brought him the Vicarage Road in the summer of 2016.
He endured an injury hit maiden campaign at Vicarage Road but grew in prominence as the 2018/19 season went on.
Javi Gracia spoke glowingly of the former Udinese man and Pereyra was arguably Watford’s best player at the tail end of the season.
He played 34 times last season and scored five times, with three of those strikes coming in the final seven games of the season.
