Andre Carrillo has joined Saudi Professional League champions Al-Hilal on loan with the option to make the move permanent.
The Benfica winger, who made 30 appearances in all competitions while on loan at Watford last season, had been widely linked with a move to Everton to once again play under Marco Silva after the former Hornets head coach played an important role in bringing the 27-year-old to Vicarage Road.
Following a strong showing at the World Cup in which he scored for Peru against Australia, Carrillo has opted to join the club managed by Jorge Jesus who he played under at Sporting Lisbon.
Portugese publication Record is reporting Carrillo has moved for an initial €2.5 million loan fee, with Al-Hilal able to make the switch permanent for €15m.
