Watford are reportedly set to send Obbi Oulare out on loan, with Belgian club Standard Liege said to be interested in securing his services.

The Hornets are looking to trim their squad before the deadline for outgoing transfers on August 31 and Oulare is an ideal candidate to depart given his limited impact at Vicarage Road.

He has made just three outings for the Hornets since joining the club in 2015 and has repeatedly been sent out on loan to secure first team football.

The 22-year-old has had spells at Waregem, Willem II and most recently Royal Antwerp.

His stay with Antwerp produced 16 appearances and three goals last season and he remains well down the pecking order at Watford.

Liege will pursue a loan deal for the forward which is likely to include an option to buy.
