AIDY BOOTHROYD hailed the performance of Mart Poom as table-topping Watford made it five Championship wins out of six last night (Wednesday).
The Estonian keeper made two fine saves in each half to keep Cardiff at bay and allow Watford to claim a classic smash-and-grab victory with two goals from Darius Henderson.
"I thought Poom was fantastic," said the manager. "It says alot about Cardiff's performance that he was probably the man of the match - he was oustanding and kept us in it.
"We had to be at our best defensively with some real last-ditch stuff. Cardiff threw everything at us and we had to defend really well.
"We have not played particulary well but we have ground out a result. I'll take that."
