ADAM JOHNSON's excellent form for Watford has been recognised with a call-up to the England Under-21 squad.
The on-loan Middlesbrough winger is in line to face Montenegro in the UEFA European Under-21 qualifier at Leicester City's Walkers Stadium on Friday, October 12 and could also feature against the Republic of Ireland four days later.
Following victories over Montenegro and Bulgaria, England are currently joint top of their group.
