GLASGOW WARRIORS arrive in Watford on Sunday to take on Saracens in this season's Heineken Cup, and one Men in Black veteran knows the size of the task the hosts face.

Centre Kevin Sorrell played in all three European Challenge Cup clashes against the Magners League side last season, which yielded two narrow wins at Vicarage Road (28-23 and 23-19) and a 6-6 draw at a drenched Hughenden.

And with Warriors boss Sean Lineen recruiting shrewdly in the summer, Sorrell is expecting another close encounter of the fourth kind.

"Biarritz are a massive test for us, as are Glasgow," said the 30-year-old. "We played Glasgow three times last season and in the two games we won we were very fortunate."

Sorrell says everyone at the club is delighted to be back in the creme de la creme of European competition after missing out last season as a result of a disappointing 2005/06 campaign.

"We want to be mixing it up with the big boys," he added. "We've never managed to get out of our qualifying group but the boys know we have to keep on working hard, as two or three defeats can make a massive difference to a season."

Meanwhile, Cobus Visagie has put himself in contention for Sunday's clash after playing 40 minutes in the A team's narrow defeat to Harlequins on Monday, his first action in months after recovering from surgery to his left elbow.

However, Sunday's game may be a week too soon for the South African prop after admitting he is a "month ahead of schedule." Saracens boss Alan Gaffney has been impressed by the performances of Tom Mercey and Cencus Johnston in the tight-head role and could be tempted to keep the experienced Visagie for next Saturday's massive test against Biarritz.

"We'll have to wait and see with that but everyone is looking forward to being involved in the Heineken Cup once again," said Visagie, who is in his last season as a player. "We've got the depth in our squad this season to really compete in the tournament and as a team, we are very well prepared going into the matches."
