WILL HOSKINS says he is unsure whether he will be recalled from his loan spell at Millwall on Saturday.

Hoskins' productive two-month loan spell at The Den is set to expire at the weekend and he has recently recaptured the form that saw him net 16 goals before Christmas for Rotherham last season.

Aidy Boothroyd had been prepared to cut his losses on a player who arrived last January in a deal worth a reported £7,500 per week, but his recent form - four goals in his last six games - may prompt a rethink and the manager may well want Hoskins at his disposal for the busy Christmas period.

"The fans know as much as me about what might happen," Hoskins told the South London Press.

"I could go back to Watford and get chucked straight into the team. Christmas is a busy time, so teams prefer to have everyone available. "We'll see what happens, but at the moment, I don't know."

Hoskins lost his way at Watford but appears to have re-discovered his confidence and form under the guidance of new Lions' boss and former Hornet Kenny Jacket.

"It's going well for me," he said. "It's great to be back scoring goals.I would not say I'm up to the levels of fitness I would like to be - but that comes with games. I can't score goals without good service, though, and that has been good."
