Moussa Sissoko has completed his move to Watford for a fee of around £3million.

Earlier today Xisco Munoz described Sissoko as a "top player" as the Hornets moved closer to signing the French international.

The deal has now been concluded and the Hornets' head coach is looking forward to working with the midfielder after saying he would be a good addition to his squad.

"He is a very good player," said Munoz. "I think everybody knows he's an experienced player. I think he's a top player and I think he'd be very good for us.

"We will see if he arrives and if he arrives, always I say the same thing - we will have one option more in our squad to try to give all the best for our team."

The new arrival will wear the number 19 shirt left vacant by Will Hughes, who has joined Crystal Palce.

Watford go head-to-head with Sissoko's former team Spurs on Sunday afternoon and Munoz said it was important for his players to concentrate from the very first minute, something he said they didn't do in their defeat at Brighton last weekend.

"It's very important that in the first 10 minutes we give all our best," he said.

"It's important we keep concentrating. The team learned about this situation in the last game away. And it's important when we arrive, we stay in the situation and immediately try to give all the best from the first minute until the last minute of the game.

"We know which team we have in front in the next game, how strong they are and the capacity they have and we know what we need to do.

"We need to make the most of our situations. We need to play like a team. We need to stay strong.

"We will try and I think if our team plays with high intensity, stays narrow and has a good defence, after I'm sure we will have our chances".
