SARACENS scrum-half Moses Rauluni has spurned a number of offers from other clubs to sign a new two year deal.

The 32-year-old has been in demand since he skippered Fiji to the World Cup quarter finals last year where he was easily player of the tournament.

However, Rauluni is enjoying life at Saracens, as he confirmed to the Watford Observer in October.

"Of course I want to keep playing and try and prove myself here," he said. "I feel I can play on for another two years and, if I still feel I've got it in me, maybe I will go to the 2011 Finals with Fiji. If it was good enough for Mike Catt (who is 36), it's good enough for me.

"I'll take it year by year but the World Cup has really revitalised me and given me a confidence boost."

"I've settled well here and I live in a lovely area," he added. "I would love to stay.

"It all comes down to how you perform and you have to do that to the best of your ability. You always need two or three scrum halves here."

Rauluni is currently in Australia with his wife Maile and their newborn daughter Isabella. He returns to Saracens next month and one man who will be the first to congratulate him is shirt rival Neil de Kock.

"It's brilliant that Moses is staying," said club skipper. "He's an awesome player and a team man.

"We've got a healthy comeptition going on and it's great to have a player of his calibre in the squad. He always gives 150% and leads by example as we saw with Fiji in the World Cup.

"It speaks volumes for Saracens that Moses wanted to stay. I think he has got a lot of belief in what the club wants to do and the club have shown a lot of belief in him, so it's a win, win situation."
