Langleybury A moved into the Watford Observer Shield quarter-finals after a seven-wicket victory over Rickmansworth last night.
Rickmansworth won the toss and opted to bat but they were overwhelmed by a superb bowling display by Langleybury. Tauses Ali took three wickets while Josh Godden took two as Langleybury were all out for 75.
They had few problems reaching the low target for the loss of just three wickets. Skipper Gregg Cooper finished unbeaten on 28 and Adnam Bashir hit 21.
West Herts are set to take on Met Police Bushey tonight while Abbots Langley play Watford Town A. Bushey face Radlett and Watford Haidery A and Kings Langley also clash in the Shield this evening.
