WATFORD Wator Polo club returned to winning ways on Monday with a comfortable 10-1 win over Biggleswade in the Herts League.
Without leading player, Graham Martin-Dye – who has left to join a team in Australia – Watford could have struggled but immediately stamped their authority as goals from James Katten, Neil Haftel, Richard Hime and Adam Collins put Watford firmly in command.
Watford continued to dominate in the second quarter and Katten, Hime and Meirs effectively ended the game as a contest.
The home side eased off, before stepping up a gear in the final quarter with haftel and Meirs again finding the net and junior Ben Dollard rounded off the victory in style with his first ever game.
Watford now visit Chelmsford in the Winter League on Tuesday.
