Watford striker Tamas Priskin is expected to complete his move to Ipswich Town in the next 24 hours.
The Watford Observer understands the two clubs agreed a fee in the region of £1.7m last night, with the Hornets also insisting on a sell-on clause.
Ipswich manager Roy Keane was at Watford’s game with Parma on Saturday and had a bid of around £1.2m rejected early this week.
However, the Hungarian, who has only one year left on his Watford contract, should be an Ipswich player before Town travel to Coventry City on Saturday and may feature at the Ricoh Arena.
Priskin signed for Watford from Gyori ETO FC for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £1m, in 2006.
The 23-year-old only scored three goals in 21 appearances during the Premiership season and struggled for goals during most of his time at Watford.
However, the striker flourished under Brendan Rodgers and scored 12 goals in 25 appearances under the Northern Irishman.
