Watford expect Heidar Helguson to miss games against Coventry City and Cardiff City

Heidar Helguson is expected to miss the Hornets next two league games with the calf injury he picked up against Leicester City last week.

Helguson had an MRI scan on Wednesday and Watford manager Malky Mackay had hoped the striker could have played during today's 1-1 draw with Reading, but the Scot has confirmed the 32-year-old will have another scan on Monday.

Mackay said: “We didn't like the reaction we saw this morning and that being the case there will be another scan done on him, so I doubt there will be any chance of Heidar playing this week.”

HH is perpetually injured so no surprise. There was no point in the challenge he made when he picked up this injury. Maybe we need another loan striker to replace the loan striker.

Well poor old Graham will have to carry on scoring on his own!

Ellington seemed unlucky to get sent off (suppose you could argue at least he was getting stuck in)

There is Sordell who has pace and did well at Leeds/Swansea I understand.

Annoying though although not surprised.

Like many others I did say HH was very injury prone. Look at his record at QPR. Any chance of still getting Healy on loan or, better still, a youngster from one of the top Premiership clubs that has a proven goal-scoring record. Surridge from Chelsea would be good for three months.

god how fickle we are.
we do however need two up front as the turn around against Leicester and BReading proved. I like the fact that MM is willing to turn things around early in a game. For such a young team that lost its supposed best assets we are doing great.
HH does not get injured for fun, it is his bravery that usually does it for him, it also makes him the threat he is. You cannot have it both ways.
Great support at The MADJ. Rodgers cut a forlorn figure out there, the deluded ****.

No, Healy is definitely staying at Sunderland until at least January now according to The NE Chronicle on Wednesday. Steve Bruce thinks his squad is too small to risk letting him go right now.....PITY !

JESUS!

Healy has no relevance to our needs whatsoever, and without HH we play 4-5-1 and only lose 1 in 9.

The evidence (to all but the blind ) is that until HH is fit-starting 451 & switching to 442 later is WORKING!

Now where did we play 442? Oh yeah @ Sheffield United, Oh and at LEEDS !
