It is not too late to buy tickets for Sir Elton John’s concert at Vicarage Road next summer.
Tickets for the May 29 show went on general sale on Friday and, as of this afternoon, around 16,500 had been sold.
The event is being staged to raise money for player transfers and Watford’s head of customer sales Michael Jones said: “We are so pleased it has gone smoothly. All Watford supporters who wanted tickets have got them and we now have just a few thousand left to sell to Elton’s wider support base over the coming weeks.”
