One of the great characters in Watford's history, Les Simmons, has died.
The former Vicarage Road grounds manager passed away on Wednesday after a long illness.
Les' career with the Hornets spanned more than 50 years and he was awarded a testimonial game against Arsenal on his retirement by then manager and current interim chairman Graham Taylor in recognition of his services to the club.
Les is survived by his wife, Beryl, and daughters Tracey and Lisa.
