Saracens' stunning form in the Guinness Premiership has not been enough to reward any of their players with a place on England's tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The Men in Black have surged back into contention for the title after successive wins at rivals Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers but the only names on the inflated 44-man squad are summer signings are David Strettle and Richard Wigglesworth.
The form of Alex Goode, Andy Saull and Brad Barritt was expected to give them national recognition but the trio will have to settle for places in the England Saxons squad.
Steve Borthwick has missed out on the trip due to tendinitis in his knee and is unlikely to be involved in the play-offs with Saracens.
