It was a successful Moor Park 10k for Watford joggers as the ladies team claimed victory.
Caroline Whittaker (43:23) came across the line first for the side and she was backed up by Sarah Daniels (52:54), Sarah Sharman (54:57) and Linda McQuaid (55:36).
Marcus Edwards picked up a gong for the first Male Vet50 while Manish Gajjar was third in the LV35 category.
Fifteen Joggers turned out in total and James Gamble among others ran a PB in his tenth successive race.
The places and times for the Joggers were: 21 Edwards 40:43, 34 Robert Gaddie 42:33 (PB), 46 Whittaker 43:23, 92 Gamble 46:06 (PB), 101 Scott Balcomb 46:35, 115 Matthew Cox 47:19, 127 Gary King 47:58, 158 Stuart Borrill 48:35 (PB), 191 Gajjar 50:15 (PB), 257 Sarah Daniels 52:54, 333 Frances Chater 55:36,361 Marcia Quinn 56:29, 412 Kika Watford 58:02, 437 Douglas McQuad 59:01, 484 Angela Edwards 1:00:47, 512 Nicole Hochmuth 1:02:00.
Also in action was Mark Studdart in the New Forest marathon crossing the line in 3:30:28 while McQuaid took part in a duathalon in Spain on Saturday and finished in a time of 34:16.
Carra Carter crossed the line in the Bristol half marathon in 1:54:00 and Bob Wallace took part in a ten mile race along the river Thames, finishing 71st in a time of 1:46:08.
Paul Christie took part in the Shardeloes 10k and managed a time of 46:31 while four joggers ran the Portsmouth victory five mile race with Edwards finishing in a personal best time of 31:28. Behind him was Nigel Higgs (43:55) just in front of Edwards (45:35) and Carol Higgs (50:20).
Andy Dean (1:34:56) and Barry Bainbridge (1:43:26) travelled north to join 50,000 others for the Great North Run.
