Watford have confirmed there is “significant interest” in Marvin Sordell after West Ham United reportedly made a £2m bid for the striker.

The England Under-21 front man reached double figures for the season on Saturday and has been linked with other clubs all season.

Southampton, Swansea City and Blackburn were all linked with the player in recent months and now West Ham United have reportedly made a £2m bid for Sordell.

The Hornets would not comment on whether a bid has been made but they did confirm there had been “significant interest” in the 20-year-old.
