Watford sign Man United keeper Kuszczak (From Watford Observer)

A second loan signing driven by the need to use up surplus K's and Z's in Hornet shop shirt naming dept.

I feel that this would be a great signing for the club, especially as there is a real chance to tie up a permanent deal in the summer. It is clear that Scott needs a break, it is then up to him if he is happy to be back up keeper. Personally I would like to see Johnathon North on the bench & to offload Loach in the summer as it very hard for him to win back fans confidence after such an error strewn season. Just need to get a striker in & then we will have a real chance to end the season on a high.

He's signed til the end of the season on emergency loan. Looks like Dyche's faith in Loach has finally run out. May be a break will do Loach some good, that's to be seen I suppose

Catch 22. If he plays well, then no way will we be able to keep him after the loan. Someone else will sign him for closer to Man Utd wages which even as 4th choice, will be way higher than we can pay.

I think this is a good move for both the player and the club. He is proven at this level with WBA although never really fulfilled his potential at Man Utd. Taking Loach out of the firing line will be good in hopefully getting his confidence back. Hopefully Kuszczack will enjoy his time with us and then sign permanently in the summer (if he is any good)

where did this come from....... i think loach needs a break to take the pressure off of him after all he is still very young for a GK and maybe good for him to learn from TK nice to know fergie is still willing to let us look after their players even if the boy has no intrest in staying at utd

I still have faith that Loach will come through his wobble but this has got to be a good move in the short term. Kuszczack has been frozen out since falling out with Fergie but he is a class act and will realise he has been given a shop window to remind everyone of his ability. Hopefully Loach will benefit from time out of the firing line..he has youth on his side and I can't believe the numpties saying he should be discarded. I would be amazed if Kuszczack is going to settle for full time move to the austerity Vic after years of Man Utd wages.

Is a very good signing, doubt there's any chance we will be the team to sign him permanantly in the summer though. Loach does need a break, not many keepers at the age of 23 have 150 games under their belt. Still have faith that he will improve and training with Kuszczak can only be a good thing.
To echo the majority a striker would be enough to help us push for a top half finish. Although with us looking safe the board may think to save that money till the summer.

This is exactly what Wfc and Scott needs - a (half) decent, experienced 'keeper who Loach can learn from. I still think he'll go in the summer (anyone know how long his contract's got left) as he can't be happy with the abuse he gets from the supposed 'fans', but he has remained professional throughout his time here, so I hope it all works out for him.

An excellent signing. Gives Loach some time off and hopefully he will come back a better player. He has ability but confidence is shot to bits. You never know we might sign TK then probably let Gilmartin go.

I wouldn't say its the end for Loach at Watford, but a much needed break. Hopefully this will help him become the keeper we all know he can be.

Instead i spend 45 mins reading childish bickering and people berating everything that the club is doing. We've just signed an established, experienced Goalkeeper til the end of the season, but we'd rather batter each other about White Elephants, the owners wallet and the existing goalkeeper's mother's illness.

really happy with this although hope that Scott uses this as a push to get better (and not destroy his confidence completely)

On a side note maybe The Vic may attract more of the local Polish community now we have a fellow country man between the sticks? Hope so but they will have to learn how to be quiet watching a match :(

This is unbelievably good news, I thought it was a prank when I saw this! Amazing news, gives time for loach and bond to train with an experienced premiership goalkeeper! Just need a good striker now on loan, and we'll look strong, not necessarily fantastic, but strong. Up the yellows!

A bold signing - and a clear statement of intent. Can't of been easy. Now we need one/two strikers that no where the net is!

Glad to see you read my comment on the loan update and did as I suggested!!!!Now off to the back cats for Noble and then back to Bolton and then onto QPR.

That will then sort out our need for a striker, full back and a winger. Then we can sit back and watch the points roll in.

Seriously though Sean a great signing, not sure he will be of huge help to Scottie but gives our man 14 games to watch and learn.

What a superb signing! I didn't see this coming at all and never dreamed it would be an established, high class keeper with experience at the very highest level!

Top, top marks to Dyche and Bassini who repeatedly confound their critics at the moment.

Can't wait to see if this makes a difference to our stock goals against (which has been set pieces and balls across the box for two seasons now). If it does, we can confirm it is down to Loach, if not, it's the set-up of the back four from these situations.

Onward and upward. I hope we sign a new 'big man' to replace Iwelumo but without restricting Masseys game time this season. Deeney also deserves to continue his run up-front to see if he can get some consistency.

Top ten and outside bets for the play-offs next year makes us a far more attractive proposition for both signings and loans for next season.

Well done for this very good loan signing. Even the most avid of us hornets fans wouldnt have thought we could ever sign a keeper from Man U, even if it is only on loan. On paper, he is possibly the most high profile 'signing' we have made in recent times. It's a win win situation for all involved so let's hope it works out for everybody. Remember to ignore those on here who lambast you for not pulling your finger out quick enough. Alot of people are not happy unless they are moaning and, of course, you cannot please all of the people all of the time; but hey at least you're sat over there in The dugout, out of earshot from these negative twits, some of us have to put up with them all around us at every game, it's very painful! These fans obviously know more than you though Sean, we must accept that fact and try and inject some sunshine into their dreary existences (wink wink) by humouring them. There there now boys you were right all along.
