Watford Under-13s were once again in dominant form as they claimed a 43 – 21 win at Tabard.

The visitors started well and took an early lead as Jack Garvin went in near to the posts, Henry Capell converted.

This sparked Tabard into life and Aaron Dixon scored under the posts which was converted to make the score 7 – 7.

Watford responded well to conceding and Capell scored his second try of the game to make it 14 – 7 only for Dixon to go over and tie the game once more.

From the restart Watford again showed well in attack and a series of quick rucks led to full back Sohum Patel scoring out wide, with Capell kicking a difficult conversion.

Watford built on their lead and Johnny Stangroome went over to put them in a commanding position at the break.

In the second period Stangroome grabbed his second try of the day and prop Mark Newman went over to make the score 36-14.

Further pressure from Watford saw a sustained attack on the Tabard line ending with a well taken conversion by Capell.

With time running down, Dixon scored his third of try of the match for Tabard under the posts which was converted making the final score 43 – 21.
