Fullerians under-16 B team produced a fine performance at Ruislip to earn a 12-12 draw.

In a disjointed first half Ruislip had more possession and made it count as, following a succession of penalties, they worked an unconverted a try under the posts.

Fullers began to up the pressure and a loose pass allowed Connor McCarthy in on halfway and then sprinted through to also score under the posts. Matt Long added the extras to put Fullerians 7-5.

The visitors held off Ruislip and they extended their lead as Tommy Fidler ran the length of the pitch to put Fullers 5-12 up at the break.

The second half was disjointed due to a succession of penalties but Ruislip pressed hard and eventually managed to push the ball over the Fullers line.

This time they converted the try levelling the scores and the game.

A Fullerians Under-16 side scored 15 tries in an exhibition of running rugby against an Aylesbury team who competed throughout.

The backs scored eight tries to the forwards seven. Top scorer was Giorgio De Lucia who scored five times closely followed by Connor Head who got a hat-trick.

Myles Finnegans and Ben Meyers got on the scoresheet with two tries each, with further scores from Ollie Jimminsion, Jack Longbottom, Jackson Allen and Conor Devine.

Craig Duncan was successful with seven conversions and Gareth Jones scored one conversion.
