West Herts were left disappointed after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Dereham.
Looking to maintain their challenge for league honours, West Herts made a bright start but they were initially unable to find a route to goal.
The hosts enjoyed chances too but it was the visitors who took a half-time lead, as good work from James Holliday enabled James Dyson to tap in for the advantage.
The pattern for the second period mirrored that of the first as both sides created chances but struggled to beat the men between the sticks.
With ten minutes to play though, the hosts had their equaliser, meaning West Herts were forced to go in search of another goal.
It wasn’t to be however, with the keepers holding firm as the match finished level.
