Dagenham & Redbridge have signed highly-rated Watford goalkeeper Jonathan Bond on a one-month loan.
The 18-year-old has made two appearances for Watford this season. His debut for the Hornets came as a substitute against Portsmouth and his first start was against Bradford City in the FA Cup.
The Daggers have been searching for a goalkeeper after first choice stopper Chris Lewington was suspended for three games following a red card against Cheltenham Town at the weekend.
Bond has already had two loan spells away from Vicarage Road this season with Evo-Stik Premier Division side Brackley Town and Forest Green Rovers in the Blue Square Premier.
Speaking to Daggers Player Bond said: “I’m really looking forward to it. It’s a great opportunity for me to play some games for a league club.
“I had some experience at other divisions that has helped me so hopefully this can be as beneficial.”
