Fullerians ran in seven tries as they thrashed Imperial Medicals 50-12.

Fullers produced arguably their best display for two years as they brushed aside the opposition. The hosts started with a great tempo and after some ten phases of play second row Ross Noonan crashed over under the posts to set the scene. Full-back Dan Evans added the extras.

The home side continued to dominate in all aspects of the game and were rewarded for their efforts after some good use of the blind side saw wing Matt Bunce go under the posts. Evans again added the extras. Evans extended the lead with a simple penalty when the Medics were caught offside after good attacking play once again from Fullers.

Their pack were quite simply unstoppable in the scrum and were rightly awarded a penalty try after the visitors tried to collapse the oncoming pushover try. Evans again slotted over the conversion.

The second half continued the same for Fullerians as good continuity between forwards and backs saw Evans pick up the first of his two tries after he picked a lovely angle to cut the covering defence in half and score under the sticks. Evans converted his own try and he added another shortly after as the Medics gave up the cause and the gaps eventually appeared for him to crash over after some good handling in the backs.

Two further tries from back rowers Mike Kerr and John Elvin were a joy to watch as the off-loading in the tackle was a masterpiece by the home side. Ed Orchard was named man-of-the-match for a dominant display.

Captain Jamie Molloy said: "We started well on Saturday and everything went well. We listened to the coaches in the week and implemented our game plan with great accuracy and took our chances when they came about. We have two games left in the season and it was another step closer to maintaining our league status."
