Sadly that's a fact of life .... but if we an hold on to the majority of this talented group of youngsters for another season or two, who knows what we can achieve. But the negativity of people like the above correspondent is an indication that Watford will never again have the level of suport necessary to sustain a club in the Premiership even if we make it there.
Well done Mapps well deserved.
Dont go but i suspect the owner will sell like i predicted with Marvin.

Well said Frisco, it seems to me there are a core of supporters who will never be pleased, we are a selling club so why this is suddenly a issue is beyond me, yes it would be nice to hang onto players and if DG was kept we might even be heading to the play offs now, but we also need to understand that running a football club is a expensive gamble. mrbankrupt chucking mud is free you personal hatred of Bassini is clear but not once have you supplied any evidence proof or explanation of any wrong doing with the here and now, so for once put up or shut up as you are becoming very boring now!
Funny enough i dont think i will get an answer

LB was advised by a very good law firm who would not have taken him on without checking him out.
Now I am not saying that LB is Mr Clean, but as I don't know the full facts I will not judge him on anything but the last year or so.
Based on that period the club appears to have stabilised, we are meeting the debt schedule and have done better than last year despite selling/losing at least four of our stars.
Overall we have to be pleased and yet Mr Bankrupt you make all sorts of allegations most of which I suspect are baseless and unfair.
We are a selling club, always will be and despite that I feel confident we will continue to do well under Mr Bassinni and Sean Dyche and at least neither of them have preached to us about Prudent Management.

The strange thing about Mr Bassinni is that WFC directors were instructed to check him out before negotiations opened. Presumably they did that with the assistance of professional advisers.

It's well documented that he's had a few problems in the past which you mention. but on more than one occasion you've been asked to say what he has done wrong since arriving at the club and as yet we have seen nothing.

He said from the very start that we would still need to sell to stay afloat but that's been the same for many years in the past and unless the Sultan of Brunei wants to buy the club will continue well in to the future. Selling Sordell was good business sense. £3.5m helps run the club.
Dyche has been given funds to sign players full time and on loan
The supporters wanted a bar so he sorted the pub out.
We needed a new pitch which is arriving as soon as Sarries play their last game. If Sarries stay for next year then not ideal but we can charge them a decent amount to help pay for the pitch.
Once this is done we can move on to the SW corner, changing rooms and hopefully the East stand but only one can happen at a time. Rome wasn't built in a day.
He hasn't done a fans forum but as long as he keeps doing what he says he will I don't really care.
I'm not saying he is the answer and he may prove not to be but as my name is not Doris Stokes and I can't see in to the future I can only go on what he's done so far and it looks ok to me.
Let us all know what he's done so horribly wrong since he came in.
