I love our club because it has a soul. A bit of it was lost for me when we sacked Ray Lewington If Dyche gets the boot, due to some jolly come lately Italians, who will come and will go again it will be a sad day for our club. Zola will only have a very short time to improve everything, because I for one believe he is the wong man, with no understanding about what this club I have loved for nearly forty years is all about. The spirit of this, our club is the fans not yours Pozzo, before you leak more stuff out in the Italian press. Things will turn quickly against you if you dont respect the fans and the spirit of this our club.
Yeah the Watford ultras will stop wearing their bobble hats
    Forza Pozza, Forza Zola
Goodbye moaners, Go north there's a nice little club fifteen miles up the road for you all
    Forza hornets
Just because you dont have blind faith doesnt make you moaner. This is both an exciting and worrying time. No-one yet knows anything much other than stuff disrespectfully leaked to foreign press. This is our club not a plaything or rich foreigners. I for one will still be supporting this club long after this crowd are long gone. All I want is things done the right way. By the way if anyone took any notice of you and your alter egos meglamanic view that you can decide who can and cant support this wonderful club, then you would be watching a sunday league team by now and a certain non-league team would have sell out every week. Now go back to your homework little fella.
If you and the rest of the moaners dont like the Pozzo's taking over, don't go to the games(simple really)

    PS you won't be missed"

New Watford owner Giampaolo Pozzo says Gianfranco Zola 'should' be the club's new manager

One of the new Watford owners - Giampaolo Pozzo - has confirmed to Italian media that Gianfranco Zola is set to become the club's new manager.

Two weeks ago the Watford Observer reported the Pozzos had considered replacing Sean Dyche with Zola and last week we confirmed the Hornets' new owners would indeed make that change.

There has yet to be a statement from Watford or the new owners with regards to their future plans for the club but father Giampaolo has spoken to Sky Sports 24.

"I can say that Zola is the man who will be managing Watford. Before signing Zola, we had to work on some legal details. It took a bit of time.

With Zola we had a verbal agreement and my son might fly to London again tomorrow. Any way, there shoudn’t be any problems and Zola should be our new manager."

Pozzo added: "We always believed in Zola, we’ve known him for a long time as he was about to join Udinese when he was a Napoli player.

He is a serious and capable manager. With proper means and opportunities, he can do well.".

Giampaolo's son Gino will be at Vicarage Road later today, where we expect him to address staff for the first time.

Dyche was appointed Watford's manager last summer and guided the club to 11th - their highest league position for four years - despite having one of the Championship's lowest budgets.

Replacing Dyche with Zola is sure to split opinion among Watford fans. Take part in our ballot below and explain your decision in the comment section.
