Watford are considering a move for former Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia after accepting a bid from Ipswich Town for goalkeeper Scott Loach .
Loach is an Ipswich fan and looks set to join the club after Watford accepted a bid this week.
The Watford Observer understands talks with 35-year-old Almunia have already begun.
Almunia was released by Arsenal this summer.
