Watford are set to sign another loanee from Udinese – experienced striker Alex Geijo.
Geijo has been at Udinese since 2010 but has spent the last two seasons on loan at Spanish side Granada, who are also owned by the Pozzo family.
The 30-year-old tweeted in Spanish confirming he is set to join Watford on a season-long loan.
He said: “Well then, I'm going to English club Watford on loan from Udinese for a year. On Monday I will travel to London. Wanting to start now.”
Geijo was born in Switzerland but has Spanish parents and has spent most of his career playing in Spain.
He started his career at Swiss side Neuchâtel Xamax before joining Malaga, where he spent four years, mainly in the reserves.
Successful spells at Xerez and Levante followed before he joined Racing Santander in the summer of 2009.
He was only at the club for half a season though because he joined former Levante coach Gianni De Biasi at Udinese the following February.
Geijo was Granada’s top scorer during his first season at the club, scoring 24 goals as they were promoted to La Liga.
