Three new signings in Watford's starting XI against Wycombe Wanderers

Three of Watford’s summer signings will start today’s Capital One Cup clash with Wycombe Wanderers.

Manuel Almunia, Almen Abdi and Matej Vydra all start and Ikechi Anya is on the bench. But injuries or fitness concerns mean Daniel Pudil, Fitz Hall and Steve Leo Beleck all miss out. As expected, Daniel Geijo is also unavailable.

There are three former Hornets in Wycombe’s line-up, in the shape of Marvin McCoy, Joel Grant and Matt Spring.

Watford: Almunia; Doyley, Taylor, Nosworthy, Dickinson; Eustace, Hogg, Abdi; Yeates, Garner, Vydra.

Subs: Bond, Hodson, Thompson, Forsyth, Buaben, Anya, Iwelumo.

Wycombe: Bull; McCoy, Doherty, Stewart, Dunne; Lewis, Spring, Bloomfield, Wood; Logan, Grant.
