Watford defender Adam Thompson has joined Wycombe Wanderers on a one-month youth loan .
Thompson has been involved with the Watford first team this season and played the full 90 minutes on Tuesday night.
But he is likely to find first team football hard to come by due to the high number of summer signings, with more defenders expected to arrive in the coming days.
Wycombe have injuries to their two right backs Marvin McCoy and Danny Foster and needed cover.
Wycombe boss Gary Waddock told wwfc.com: "He’s been on our radar for quite some time now and we’re delighted we’ve been able to bring him to the club.
"He’s got international experience, played in the Championship and in League 1. We also watched him on Tuesday night and he played very well.
"We needed a right-back with Marvin McCoy injured and Danny Foster returning to fitness and Adam fits that bill perfectly."
