Rickmansworth archery club overwhelmed by event turnout

Ricky Archers' trial event attracted plenty of interest
Ricky Archers were overwhelmed by the turnout at their trial event.
The small Rickmansworth archery club which has 39 adult and 11 junior members had about 200 people attend their 'have a go' event on Sunday.
The demand was so high with people arriving almost half an hour before the start and the day finished 40 minutes after the planned closing time.
Queues were thick and long but in spite of this everyone remained high spirited even though many had to wait over one hour for their turn. Within hours of the event, the club started receiving complimentary emails of and enquiries of when Ricky Archers would be hosting another one.
There has also been interest from people wishing to enrol on beginners courses next year in May and July.
