Third defeat for Emma Wiggs and Paralympic GB's sitting volleyball team

Emma Wiggs and her sitting volleyball team-mates will now have their sights set on finishing as high up the final Paralympic rankings as possible after their group campaign ended without a win this evening.

Like with their first two Pool A defeats at the hands of Ukraine and the Dutch, the GB team failed to win a set as Japan ensured the host nation will finish bottom of their group.

The Rickmansworth athlete's side now go through to the classification matches on Wednesday for those nations which failed to make the last four of the tournament.

As with their other matches, Britain were up against it after they lost the first set 25-11.

However, they put up an improved display in the second set, before losing 25-21, and Japan duly wrapped up the win the next set, taking it 25-14.
