Hahahaha

Okay the man is a living legend but he has left. Why is he hosting it? Regretting leaving so soon maybe?

Would be nice to see Mr Pozzo there so we can thank him in person!

And what is it a Q and A session for, or am I missing something?

Seems quite pointless, lets wait until the forum?

This is fantastic news. Those posting here who seem to think the new can somehow obliterate the old are talking rubbish. GT's legacy to Watford is crucial and his willingness to do this suggests the new era with the Pozzos can be seen (as it should) as a development which builds on the achievements of the past and takes us forward in a positive and constructive way.

Wonder why it's not at WFC though

This is not a WFC event, it's GT's own.

I agree but surely it would have better to have it at the Vic?

Oh my god. It is nothing to do with Watford FC! It's obviously a charity event to raise money for Amersham FC. GT's role there is clearly as an after dinner speaker, the same as if they had booked Rodney Marsh or the like! He isn't hosting anyhting, or in no way is it anything to do with the upcoming fan's forum. It is a totaly seperate event! Try reading the article! The only reason the Wooby have put it on here is because obvously WFC fans would be likely to want to go, pay the money and raise money for a local footy team!

It is an evening for football fans of any club to talk footy with a footy legend. nothing to do with watford fc at all. I'm sure the intention is for him to give his views on the game in general, but I would be very suprised if he laid into Bonkers Baz or the new regime.

You are not known as the voice of reason for nothing.Graham Taylor is in fact the president of Amersham Town FC and is hosting the evening to help raise funds for the club.Watford have no involvement in the event except to kindly promote the evening in the matchday programme. The W.O are also supporting the event in recognition of what mr.Taylor has done for the club..I cannot believe some people are using this as an opportunity to criticize him.

As said, A GT event. Looking at the Amersham Town website it seems just a GT event and nowt about WFC. How Graham may field questions from WFC fans will be interesting to read about and I hope that the WO reports accordingly.

who's criticising him? He's dumped us for Villa twice and also unsuccessfully applied for other 'big' jobs while at Watford in the 80s. I just made a light-hearted joke.

I love the man and won't hear a bad word about him (unless in jest), but people need to stop being so precious.

Do I not like that!
He's not God, he was the best we had, but not flawless like Mullet heads pointed out correctly.

Maybe GT can broker pre-season friendlies at AFC replacing the fixture with Borehamwood, as BFC are too strong for the Hornets to win anymore.
