Third place in Wales for Watford Jogger

Watford Jogger Barry Griffin finished third in the Fan Dance which took place in Wales.

The race, favored by SAS trainees over the Pen y Fan mountain in Wales, covered a distance of 14 miles and involved two ascents of the mountain which stands at 886m. Griffin was aiming for four hours but impressively finished in two hours and 59 minutes. This was only six minutes behind the winner.

Jim King made a pleasing racing return at the St Albans park run on Saturday, completing the 5k course in 26.50. James Gamble ran well for a time of 21.00.
