Moor Park hold finals day
Moor Park Lawn Tennis Club held their annual finals day last weekend with 15-year-old Jay Radia performing brilliantly to claim the men’s singles competition.
In glorious sunshine on the grass courts, Radia’s unbeaten display saw him take the title ahead of fellow 15-year-old Andrey Prikazchikov.
In the women’s doubles, defending champions Marianne Montgomery and Amber Linford regained their trophy with a victory over Sarah Gallagher and Chris Laffan with a championship tie break.
In sweltering conditions on Sunday the eventual winner of the ladies singles was Anna Barone.
She retained her title while new member to the club Mikaela Sales won the plate competition.
