Troy Deeney and Fitz Hall could feature for Watford when they play Queens Park Rangers today

Watford to play QPR today Watford to play QPR today

Watford will be playing Queens Park Rangers in a behind-closed-doors friendly today.

Summer signing Fitz Hall, Stephen McGinn and possibly even Troy Deeney, who was released from prison last week, could feature in the match.

Speaking on Monday, Gianfranco Zola told us: "Hall is better and tomorrow he should be training. We will probably play a friendly game on Wednesday so he should be involved then."

On Deeney, he added: "We might play a friendly during the week and if we do then we will try to play him."

I hope that Fitz Hall is on a pay per game deal, ALL my QPR mates told me, before he signed, that he is happy to be injured and take his money every week.
Get rid

Unfortunately Hornet Cornet has recently realised that we are all subject to entropy. The idea that the universe and everything in will eventually fade and die has crushed his feeble spirit.

Ever since this life-altering epiphany he has become withdrawn and introverted. "Who cares?" he screams at the wind, broken and sobbing. "Who cares?" he demands of the God that has truely forsaken him.

Hornet Cornet is now a broken shell of an individual. Unresponsive and barely alive "Who cares?" is his answer to all of life's questions. He mutters it to any query or statement.

Now he sits alone, forlornly typing "Who cares?" into websites in the hope that someone will reply "I do."

It's quite sad really.

It's nice throwing the occasional silly comment into the forum, some people bit and some take it for what it is.

5-2-1 the goals against are getting lower. Do not play QPR and we might have a zero to add to the list for saturday.

I heard Tesco changed their bag design and it caught QPR and Reading out.

What an absolutely moronic comment.

I am assuming all your QPR mates are medical experts, have intimate knowledge of the physical and mental state of Fitz Hall and understand s how he manages to trick the medical teams at Watford and QPR to ensure he deliberately avoids actually playing football.

This is despite the fact that he is apparently driven by money and is likely to get more by playing and picking up win bonuses, clean sheet bonuses etc. than by sitting on sidelines.

Well done on giving us your insight. Please, please don't hesitate to add more knowledgeable and well thought out comments at some future point.

Cornet you rabble rouser, I have an ode for you, dear flakey one

Last year old Cornet called for Dyches Head
This year it's Gianfranco instead
He wanted Bas out
Now Pozzos the shout

Could it be the flake is brain dead?
He wants Troy Deeney head on a pike
And all the loanees to get on his bike
Back to Udine or lands a far

But Cornets my forum buddy tho we sometimes disagree
His opinion is valid, for individuals are we
Often decried for differing thoughts
But with us comes the and alls..
Along with the warts
I thank u!
Or possibly back to Grenada

As a Watford season ticket holder for 42 years, I must congratulate QPR for staying up last season. Fair play to them. Back in the top flight, where a club with their fanbase and history belong.

I wonder if we'll ever be able to emulate them? I fear not.

Things were certainly looking up for the 'Orns at the start of the season, but seriously think we could be in a relegation battle come May.

Personally, I think Zola has had a fair chance to show what he can do, but needs to go now. The wee fella just isn't up to the job in my opinion.

Before slagging off tosh horn I would like to say its widely known in football that he's not interested in playing and is happy picking up easy money! Ellington also fits that mould. So pipe down wiseguy !

Like bush hornet above, I can only assume that Bert-Gill is having a laugh at everyone's expense??? Trying to pretend that he's an old **** and that things these days are nowhere near as good as they were back then. Nice one Bert, I bet you're 20-30 years old with a fantastic sense of humour now come on Bert, let us all in on the joke and tell us who you really are, mate.
