Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall admits his side spurned winning positions against Leicester and Exeter

Director of rugby Mark McCall expressed his disappointment with the way Saracens executed their drop-goal move at the end of the 14-12 defeat to Exeter on Sunday.
With Charlie Hodgson and Owen Farrell both ready to strike, a Matt Stevens knock-on let Exeter off the hook and allowed the referee to blow the final whistle.
It was the second week running McCall's men spurned the chance to steal a last minute victory after they had also failed to do so in the 9-9 draw with Leicester.
McCall said: "The first one (against Leicester) was OK we just missed it but I thought today we lacked the right amount of composure just at the end there.
"We didn’t need to give the pass to Matt Stevens that we gave - we could have kept picking and going and working our way towards the middle of the posts where Charlie and Owen were in position for the drop-goal.
"It was a poor bit of play and it kind of summed up our performance in a way, we made too many errors, our control and our fundamentals weren’t good enough."
