Exeter Chiefs forward James Hanks will face a hearing relating to an incident with Saracens' Steve Borthwick

Exeter Chiefs forward James Hanks is to appear at an RFU disciplinary hearing for an incident during his side's match against Saracens at Sandy Park on Sunday.

Hanks has been charged with allegedly ‘making contact with the eye or eye area of an opponent’, who was Saracens’ Steve Borthwick .

The case will be heard tomorrow (Tuesday) by a panel of of His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett (chair), Nick Dark and Mike Curling at the Bristol Filton Holiday Inn at 6.30pm.
